How can I enroll a new claimant for Emeric’s PBM Program?
In order to meet the client’s specific needs and make implementation as easy as possible, we offer various methods of implementation, which include:
- Electronic Downloads: Pertinent claim information is electronically processed on a daily basis, transmitting pertinent pharmacy information from the TPA/ Insurance Carrier to Emeric. This allows Emeric to activate/deactivate the claims daily.
- Manual: The claims adjuster submits all pertinent information to Emeric either by fax (800-661-1345); telephone (800-661-1494) or email: info@emericinc.com.
- On-site pharmacy enrollment: The claimant presents a prescription to the pharmacy, which then calls the adjuster for approval. The adjuster approves the drug and gives the pharmacy Emeric’s toll-free number (800-661-1494) for billing information. Emeric obtains claimant information from the pharmacy. An Emeric customer service representative then contacts the adjuster to verify that all information is correct.
- File Review: An Emeric sales representative does a complete review of claims to obtain pertinent pharmacy information.
The process is just as easy for the injured employee. Emeric will personally contact the claimant to explain and implement the program. Our specialized customer service representatives are available to the claimant through our toll free customer help line (800-661-1494) to answer questions previously directed to the adjuster.

Emeric, Inc. employs a full time Spanish translator who is available during normal office hours.
Where can I get specific information on certain medications a claimant might be prescribed?
Our staff of full time Pharmacy Techs and Registered Pharmacists is available through our toll free telephone number 800-661-1494 during normal business hours to answer any questions regarding a claimant’s prescribed medications.
How do I find the most convenient pharmacy for my injured worker?
Our Pharmacy Locator (Click to go to locator) is easy to use. Simply enter the zip code for the location you are searching and all Network Pharmacies in the area will appear. An Adjuster or claimant can also call Emeric’s toll free Help Desk at 800-661-1494 for personal assistance.
What about claimants with long term and/or catastrophic injuries?
Working closely with the adjuster, Emeric, Inc. utilizes Emeric ScriptControl to evaluate the historical pharmacy data of all claims submitted to identify those claimants who might be better served through our Workers’ Compensation specific home delivery program, PMOA.
